MIA Italian Tapas & Bar: Authentic Italian Tapas Experience in Austin

Eric was absolutely amazing. He helped us choose from the menu and the dishes were absolutely delicious. I have never had octopus cooked so perfectly - highly suggest ordering. And the dessert was beyond flavorful. Can’t say enough positives about this place. Try it out, you won’t regret it!

We live right next to the Domain and used to come here for brunch years ago, and then admittedly just kind of forgot about it since there are so many options out here. This is going to sound crazy, but we just got back from a week in Italy for a wedding, and found ourselves a bit underwhelmed with the pasta out there. We tried several different places, but we kept striking out for some reason. Just kind of bland and uninspiring. We're not picky either, we were really surprised! Fast forward to today, we were still craving pasta since our itch didn't get scratched in Italy. We ordered the rigatoni with brown butter sauce and mint parpadelle....and WHOA. Explosion of fresh, incredible flavors. We were seriously doing happy dances while eating, it was exactly what we felt like we expected to get in Italy and didn't. Also generous portions and the aesthetics of the dishes were beautiful! We also had the meatball flight which was also just so, so good! And the cheesecake, amazing. The GM was a really great guy too, our whole experience was just a hit. We will definitely not forget about this place again!

I had an absolutely incredible dining experience! Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor—from the vibrant appetizers to the rich and satisfying mains. The food was creative and delicious, offering a unique twist that really stood out. The service was just as impressive—the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. A special shoutout to the manager, whose attentiveness and care elevated the whole experience. You can really tell they take pride in both the food and the customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family!

Awesome tapas restaurant. We ordered 10+ dishes and everything was awesome. Our waiter was really great. He was really tall and sat down to help us select the dishes. Overall awesome experience.

I highly suggest Mia! The food was delicious and the portion sizes were great. We got the charred creamed cabbage, octopus, jarmon croquettes, capatelli and rigatoni. I loved everything we ordered. It was also easy to get a table for 2-4 people and our server was lovely.

Really enjoyed our experience. We loved the food and the tapas style that makes you tried a lot of different plates. Will definitely come back

I hadn’t been here in a while, but I went last night with a friend and was excited to check out the new menu. It did not disappoint! We shared several tapas, and every dish was packed with flavor and creativity. These aren’t the kind of plates you can easily recreate at home. They’re thoughtful, unique, and absolutely delicious. On top of that, the service was fantastic: attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

If you see certain menu items online and not on the menu in person, they changed their menu to focus on more Spanish dishes. Everything was really yummy! My favorite was the tempura fried scallops. Great place to share food. I will say that I did not enjoy the cherry limeade, just beware that it kind of taste like cherry medicine. This is just what it tasted like to me another thing is that they only have one gelato dessert. It does contain alcohol. It was pretty good though
